One of the wonderful things about photography, when you don’t remain confined to a niche, is that you get to see lives develop
over time and families grow. You see brides on what many say is the happiest
day of their lives come back to you with newborn babies and hearts overfilled
with a joy that no wedding day can ever compare to.
So it was with Shannon who brought her beautiful little girl Emma to our place.
Because of circumstances out of our control, we had to do the shoot after the
10 days we usually recommend but after some coaxing and a little snuggle time
with mom, Emma went down for a nap and cooperated with my camera. Here are few
shots from that session.
Love the way she clung to mom. |
Once she settled in well enough for us to put her into the basket, I shot everything I could before trying to move her to another setup. |
That's a protective little elephant right there. |
Can never get enough of the basket shots. There's always another angle to shoot. |
I love how luxurious this red comes out in shots. |
Mom's you WILL be in a shot with your baby at some point. You can count on it. |
Unfortunately, we shot Shannon and Dave's wedding back during our overwhelmed years and have no blog to link to, but you can see a few of the shots from their wedding on our facebook profile, here.
Brides, remember that you all get a 20% discount on sitting fees for life. Maternity, newborn, boudoir, you name it. It's our small way of thanking you for trusting us with your big day.
